Tattu Restaurant, Dubai

A&T Group Interiors completed the fit-out for TATTU Restaurants Dubai, a striking three-level destination at Ciel Dubai Marina, the world’s tallest hotel at 365 meters. This project marks Permanently Unique Group’s first expansion outside the UK.

Spanning the 74th, 76th, and 81st floors, each level draws on Chinese mythology, symbolizing the dragon, koi carp, and phoenix. The 74th floor features a dramatic triple-height atrium with TATTU’s signature cherry blossom tree and a Yin-Yang-inspired restaurant and bar, contrasting black-and-gold dining spaces with white-and-silver lounge areas, finished in materials like Shou Sugi Ban cedar, marble, amethyst glass, and onyx.

On Level 76, the world’s highest infinity pool sits alongside a Japanese-fusion dining space in aqua tones, green marble, and rattan furnishings, with surrounding terraces and a central DJ booth. The 81st floor Sky Lounge & Terrace showcases a birdcage-inspired ceiling, a glowing pink onyx bar, and a wraparound terrace that transitions from an elegant lounge to a vibrant nightlife venue.

The project faced several technical and logistical challenges. Work within a 12-meter-high space required close coordination between the design and engineering teams. Limited lift sizes and restricted access also made it difficult to move materials to the upper floors, so the team used a modular approach and lifted items in sections to improve efficiency and reduce disruption.

High winds were another challenge, especially during the Sky Pool construction on Level 76. Working at this height required strict safety measures, including the use of harnesses and real-time wind monitoring to ensure safe and accurate installation.

Despite these challenges presented, the three levels create an immersive dining experience with amazing views of Dubai landmarks, including Ain Dubai, Dubai Harbour, and Palm Jumeirah.
